New Fire Extinguisher Law

There is a new fire extinguisher law in Hudson County that requires that upon the sale, lease or transfer of a building with fewer than 3 units, each unit be equipped with at least one portable fire extinguisher. It is responsibility of the seller or landlord to provide this as part of a change of occupancy. Even though the law does not require existing owners or tennants to have a fire extinguisher,I think its one of the cheapest and best devices to have in your home. You can buy one online at:
