Today is the day they bless all the animals at St. Francis in Hoboken, http://www.stfrancishoboken.com/ located at 308 Jefferson Street. The mass starts at 6pm and if you have never seen this, it is truly amazing. There will be at lease 100-150 animals at mass, everything from dogs and cats to hamsters and even birds. In most Church's this is typically done outside, this is one of the few Church's that actually invite all the animals inside. The love we give to a pet and receive from a pet is really special, so if you have a pet you will understand and appreciate this ceremony.

Experienced the new W Hotel in Hoboken by actually staying there this weekend - truly an urban oasis and escape from the daily routine....My husband surprised me by booking reservations for 2 nights at the new W and it was a fun experience. Pets are welcome but we decided to leave Roxy with a friend. If we had chosen to keep her there, they would have treated her with lots of luxury pet amenities, including her own bed, special dog toys and evening treats, a few of the things they do for your pet. There is a $25 daily charge for this as well as a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee. (Roxy did stop by to visit but didn't stay there).
Other amenities included a Bliss Spa on the premise (and they will come up to your room for certain spa treatments), Living Room (becomes a bar in the evening), High speed internet is available, business center, fitness center, restaurant and a really nice staff who were extremely accommodating.
So it was a quick escape and fun to be one of the first to experience Hoboken's latest addition. Click on below link for more details and stop by yourself to check it out.
